Cynthia began to feel sharp stabbing sensations that over, time, became excruciatingly painful.
“I spent a lot of time in grief, I felt like my life was over,” explained Cynthia. “I couldn’t carry my son; that was very devastating to me.”
When Cynthia first started at MAPS, she was convinced that physical therapy was not the right choice for her. Her doctor explained to her the benefits of the MAPS physical therapy program and she agreed to give it a try.
Cynthia successfully participated in MAPS physical therapy program and she is now able to play catch with her son and enjoy life again.
“It is the best thing I ever did to help my pain and my health,” Cynthia said. “I am such a different person now; it completely changed my quality of life.”
